In terms of character, and team play he gets an A+. He was the Clips' designated defender . Unfortuantely, because Shaun Livingston could not shoot, having Ross play shooting guard put too much pressure on Brand and Magette (and Kaman) to do all the scoring low. However, he had streaks where he would score 16-18 even over 20 once or twice. So on the clips, who needed shooters from the outside, he became dispensible.

However, he signed with the Grizzlies as a free agent, and never stopped being Dunleavy's favorite defender. Kobe used to burn him regularly, but he never let up.

I suspect that if he plays enough Q Ross could become an offensive force, but if you have a bench with shooters, then I agree the Celts should go after him. You are not getting Ariza and Hill is washed up . You just need a vet to play defense and allow Pierce (and Allen) to rest.

Q is not just a small forward, but a G-F swingman. He actually played guard more than forward.

One other liability . He may be 6'6 but he is very skinny and has no bulk, so you won't get many rebounds from this guy as a forward. as a guard, that is not a concern.
