Chad Ford’s latest mock has the C’s taking Southern Illinois PG Bryan Mullins. He doesn’t appear to have an DraftExpress profile, which isn’t a great sign. More indication the C’s will take a flyer on a back-up PG at #58, though.
If I deem Mullins worthy, I may have more on him later.

I saw Mullins in the mock as well as was surprised that I’d missed a player from the MVC (I had Osiris Eldridge in the spreadsheet before he pulled out of the draft). After I added him to the spreadsheet I did not feel bad about missing him during my initial efforts but am now thoroughly intrigued as to why Ford would put him in his mock draft. It’s so near a random mention of a draft-eligible senior that his inclusion be motivated by some direct knowledge.
