Matt, can’t gloat over what wins? I wouldn’t gloat if the Celtics defeated a team as injury depleted as last year’s Celtics’ team. A dear friend of mine, Cal, is a Lakers fan and when KG went down he repeatedly said that a Championship win against the Celtics (had they made it to the Finals) would not have felt as good had the Celtics had their full team. And he’s right, and the same goes for me. If the Celtics beat a team who didn’t have their best player and their first backup power forward, I’d feel slighted.

And to Jimbo. I would lighten up, if these guys were funny, but they’re not. If you think they’re funny, that may be your brand of comedy, but recycled jokes and YouTube references (yesterday the Rick Roll, today Chocolate Rain) is just not funny.

Dude, we all love the NBA, but seriously calm down. This is the summer league and these guys are funny. You’ve gotta take them with a pinch of salt and realize that they’re not (and not trying to serve the same role as) Hubie Brown.

So a Magic fan can’t gloat over beating Boston, in Boston, in a seventh game?

Oh wait, I guess it’ll be that KG didn’t play.
Because no team has ever had a player injured when they played Boston…….

So I guess that means Boston fans can’t gloat over their wins?

Wow, the whole state of Mass would go quiet.
