It makes your article seem biased and has readers (like me), questioning your methods. But on defense, I wonder if these aggregate stats tell the whole story. If we're nursing a small lead at the end of a big game and Rondo's on the ball, I worry. According to my (admittedly faulty) memory, he has a hard time keeping his man in front of him and out of the lane. Am I just wrong on this? It's critical to the game, and while I'm asking a lot here, it's not too much to ask from someone being called an "elite", top-ten defender.
