(I should know as an alumnus.) But there really is no market. All 3 mil people are already split between the Celts/Knicks and Red Sox/Yankees. Sure the area stinks and we don't have a lot of people, but there is something about having a real home team. Greatest ABA team ever! Know how you feel, Zach. Kentucky has never had a Big Four professional sport. Closest we had was the Kentucky Colonels of the ABA (which was the most successful ABA team, btw), but bias kept us out of the NBA. We came close to getting the Grizzlies when they left Vancouver, but nevertheless. That's why college ball rules the Bluegrass, and most people don't care about the NBA. What about the Flint Tropics?
