I think it's more that he thinks Davis has to grow up, and not do something stupid like punch a friend two nights before season tip-off. Can we indian-give and go back some months ago and take the chance on Leon now? I mean we'd be in almost the same situation we're in. Anyway, I just think it's gotta be Williams to step up...toughness inside and boards. Sure, you miss the spreading of the floor and outside shot with Davis. But in all honesty, we're good with outside shooters on the second unit. Wallace/House/Scal got the perimeter offense and Daniels is a slasher. Shelden...grab boards, play some D, score down low, take some charges. Not as confident about tonite, but not shook on the season as a whole.
