		<description>I&#039;m not so sure trading the #1 or #2 for KG would have worked.  It seemed like KG didn&#039;t want to come here until Ray came on board and made the C&#039;s legititimately appealing  (PP was just the disgruntled self centered odd ball that every one wanted to stay away from, not to mention Beantown labeled as a bastion for racist haters).   In other words, Ray was step one and KG step two.   In hindsight, I think the only way it could have worked is if the pick WASN&quot;T  a 1 or 2 pick so that the C&#039;s could justify unloading it for Ray and then giving up the young guns for KG (thanks McHale!). </description>

		<description>Hard to imagine Danny wouldn&#039;t pull the trigger on a trade for KG.  For sure, Durant and Oden looked like guys who might become franchise players in a few years, but KG was an *established* franchise player coming to a team with with PP and enough pieces to snag a third major player.  And if having the 1 or 2 let Danny keep more pieces to play or deal - that would&#039;ve been awfully nice. </description>
