I am sure everyone of you would rather have Leon for half a season than Shelden Williams in one full season (you telling me we can’ get by with Sweetney and Scal). The guy has hands that are colder than Perk, yet somehow he manages to get all the rebounds. His jumpshot reminds me of Big Baby shooting, do you really want him to be shooting that much?

Eddie is on fire, he needs to be in the 3 point shooting contest. Who has a quicker release than him?

Bill Simmons said they can’t win 72, I believe they can. Do you?

@everyone: Glen Davis is better than Shelden Williams. Shelden has done his job well, but he’s just not an offensive threat. Baby will get his minutes back.

Given that Shelden keeps this up and consistantly improves each game. Do you think that when Davis gets back he should have to work his way back into the regular rotation (as in behind Williams)?

In the offseason I said how I liked a Powe/Wallace 2nd unit combo more than a Davis/Wallace. Now Shelden’s no Leon, but he’s doing great (for 5 games in the season) and starting to do the things that Powe did. He just needs to be more of a force down low and take a ridiculous amount of charges and then it’d be like we never lost #0

I have to say the team is pretty sick so far. The passing, unselfish play, awesome D…Friday’s game against Phoenix should be interesting. See if the Suns will be able to break through that glass ceiling of 90 points. I’m easily entertained watching these games and far from thinking it’s boring, but it’s still very early. And having it like this now while other teams are still “working on their chemistry” makes you think, the 72-10 record (while not important) is definitely possible to better with this team.

Lastly, is it impossible to think that come all-star weekend that half of the 3 point shoot-out competitors will be C’s. heheh. Yeah, but probably not considering House was left out last year.

Brilliantly written article, love the pop (and unpopular) culture references. As for the issue of whether the games are becoming boring. I think it shows us how dominant the C’s are and how spoiled we are to be even broaching the question. Would people have the C’s take the foot off the gas just so the game is more entertaining from a fans perspective? I didn’t think so. A win is a win. Full stop.
