One other thing...

I'm going to hate being a Celtics fan in two years. They looked really old tonight.

It was interesting that Paul & Ray had more assists than Rondo, but it looked like when Rondo had the ball there was not a lot of movement. Could that be, 'I'm tired so I'm gonna stand here. Somebody else make a play' fatigue? Tommy made a good point that Rondo should keep his dribble & move around in the lane to see if anybody overplays him to open something up. Rajon played super hard D on skip to my lou with several steals. You could tell he was getting inside his head. Doc had Rondo up a couple of times in the last few minutes to go in, but then changed his mind. If the unit on the floor is playing well, building a lead, then I think it is FANTASTIC coaching to leave well enough alone & stop tinkering. It may seem odd to us that some starters are not in, but some nights KG or Rondo or Paul or Ray may not be the answer. If Sheldon is playing his heart out rebounding & defending (by the way, Sheldon gets down the court faster than anybody else on the C's, watch him) & the lead is growing then just let it be. I cannot define it, but Scal brings a stability to the game. There is something intangible there which just works. Maybe it's because he brings a lot of enery and motion and passing, but you can see that he is like oil to a rusty engine. He is not the most intimidating, but his effort & brains make up for it.
