I’ll take it a step further. I am advocating the Shelden Williams replace Glen Davis in the big man rotation. He’s a better player. Davis isn’t good, has never been good, and will probably never be good.

We don’t need a power forward on the 2nd unit to step out and shoot mediocre (at best) jump shots while sucking at defense and rebounding. We need a guy to bang, play some D, and grab some boards, even if he does have stone hands.

I never knew why Davis played more than Powe, and when he returns, I’ll again be perplexed as Davis takes Williams’ minutes.

Nice piece with some solid observations, I especially liked the one about Candace Parker’s hotness. I think the C’s should sign her up. She can flat out play.
