He is a menace on defense. How he is not on the NBA all-defensive team is a crime. I am now officially part of the iggy fan club.... I went to a hawks-76ers game in philly over thanksgiving and he also did a total shutdown job on joe johnson....now pierce....i'm sold. Maybe his defence doesn't have the sexy stats but he is a prison warden..... SO why would doc call an iso for pierce to end the game? WHY? There wasn't even a screen. It just makes no sense when you have all the other weapons. Fully support that rondo needs his number called at the end of games sometimes to build up his confidence and keep other teams honest. And ray was looking smooth all night....i thought for sure he was primed to ice it. Eddie Jordan was smart enough to bench Thadeus Young at the end when he realized the KG matchup wasn't working at all. He played Brand more minutes and got critical production (and the game winner). Its only one game so the sky is not falling....but this goes back to the previous blog post and discussion about doc and the rigidity of his lineups....you have to be willing to flex and adapt. My only disappointment with sheed was it meant playing time for SCAL. If he does it against better opponents....then i'll question the man. First off, hats off to iguodala. He is a menace on defense.
