@Shane: It's amazing, isn't it? But it also shows how good NBA players are. It's hard to finish even a fast-break lay-up if you're a) short by NBA standards and b) can't really jump high.

I want to believe he's just being Paul, however I hope that we don;t revert back to running our offense entirely through him in the 4th quarter when he comes back. we' in some ways have done a better job in the 4th quarter of recent games because we haven't and we coudln't because he wasn't out there playing.

So the Celts have won two games minus Pierce that they should win...with or without Pierce. Now Rondo comes out and comments about certain players having their own agendas. Some speculated that this was referring to Ray or perhaps Sheed...few mentioned Pierce. I notice in the LA game that Pierce and Rondo looked like they were exchanging heated words and at least once Rondo tried to almost take the ball away. Long story short, the Captain has been my favorite player for a long time, but I feel as though he has a bit of an Iverson complex, given some recent comments about him being a great shooter and should be in the three point contest and Ray is a great shooter but not as good as me...Long post short, is Paul just being Paul or is the dude losing it?

Yeah about as shocking when Rondo makes more than one three in a game. I feel bad for saying that because I love the kid but it's the truth.

This isn't really relevant to the game other than it happened again but, has there ever been a player less likely to make a fast break lay-up with a defender trailing in NBA history then Eddie House? It's shocking when he succeeds.

Definitely a good job keeping the bench in. Will we ever see Shelden again? I think Bill Walker will get better with more playing time. Every game shows more and more that as Rondo goes so go the Celtics. He is definitely the one player they can not live without right now. Once the team is back to full strength I hope Doc starts to exploit matchups more and keep the hot hand in the game. Last night was a perfect example. TA was not playing well so Eddie stays in, gets hot and changes the game.
