Rondo is getting better shooting the basketball. I think He will become a very good outside shooter in the next 2 or 3 years....kinda like Jason Kidd did. But the championship window with the big 3 is closing and we need another player who can play a true point and shoot the outside shot to win this thing a couple more times. I think trading Ray and Baby for Hinrich and Salmons would make this team the best in the NBA. Hinrich could backup Rondo and Daniels in the backcourt and Salmons would be a nice backup to Pierce and Daniels. Add House and TA and this is a nice mix and cuts down the turnovers. If Boston can make this move and also get Tyrus Thomas...They will be set for the next couple years.

@ James. So is this a team with two injured stars going through the motions just waiting to turn it on in the playoffs or will Doc get things straightened out right now? OH COME ON MAN! You got to be kidding right. James have you been watching the games man?

@James. His full sample of 3-pt shots is already small, so splitting them in any fashion isn't going to offer high confidence level conclusions either way. The point was to shut up brain-dead announcers and prove that he's not truly a 20% shooter because most of his 3s are prayers to begin with. But since you asked, I am curious what the number comes out to because the few times I've seen him actually take a good 3-pt shot, many of them have gone in. I am curious if maybe he's even better than everyone thinks at 3s.

His stroke looks much truer when taking a 3 than when taking a 17 footer or even a FT. Whether it's thinking about the shorter stuff too much or just that the distance is naturally more comfortable to him, wouldn't be interesting if the numbers showed (even if the sample was small) that when he takes good 3s, he actually shoots them very well?
