A Golden Chance: Game 2 Open Thread

On one hand, this feels like an Orlando blowout, you know? Pissed off about Game 1, the rust shaken off, Dwight Howard fresh off listening to two days worth of coverage about how poorly he played and how great Perk’s defense is.

On the other hand, this Celtics team, right now, does not feel like a team content to come back to Boston with a split.

You know the drill. Tell us what you’re seeing, what’s going right, what’s going wrong, etc.

I’ve got the DVR fired up for this one due to a very, very serious family dinner, so your comments will be extra-helpful.

Root, root, root for the good guys.

    @MP – Oh my, that would be heartbreaking!

    MP— The Magic are broken. You could see it in their body language even before this game ended. They’re not coming back.

    And AGAIN, we won with 2 of our main guys playing like crap (on O, that is). One day they’ll all play decent ball… the result will be ridiculous.

    We shot almost 46 percent tonight? Sure didn’t seem like it. Wow.

    2-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    What a great game, best of the playoffs so far. Hard fought the whole way, in the end, the Celtics just wanted it more and got it done.

    I think I just heard a couple of “Experts” screaming, and I’m in Sacramento.

    Hope PP & Company follow through on what he said was going to happen at home.

    This was not the best game of the playoffs for the Celtics. We were || <- that close to channeling our inner Bruin and blowing this one big. 2 more to the finals, 6 more for the championship.

    Feel bad for all the people who are losing big money this playoffs.

    I feel bad for Redick, who’ll probably hear about it for a while.

    @Zain

    Best game of the playoffs, I mean most entertaining, most competitive not best game the Celtics played.

    But for that matter, they played much better than they did in Game 1. But so did Orlando, so that’s what made it a great game.
