Avery Bradley Likely Done For Season

On the back of a horrific game six performance, Gary Washburn of the Globe piled on with more bad news: Avery Bradley is almost certainly done for the season. Washburn: A source close to Bradley told the Globe that it’s in the “high 90s” percentile that Bradley will be shut down and will perhaps need [...]

Game 6 Will Be Wednesday Night at 8pm on ESPN

After the Thunder finished up their series by routinely dismantling the Lakers last night to send them packing in five games, a time has been announced for the C’s-Sixers Game 6 on Wednesday night. It will tipoff shortly after 8pm on ESPN. Looking ahead in the postseason, if the C’s do win Game 6, and [...]

Highlight: Rondo Leads The Break

I love this decision-making from Rajon Rondo. While leading the break, you can see him eyeballing Ray Allen, who runs the wing and spots up on the arc. The Sixers have a 1-2 disadvantage but are mostly concerned about Allen’s three balls, which allows Mickael Pietrus to make an unmolested baseline cut behind the defense. [...]

A note to all you local C’s fans out there that may be attending the game tonight at TD Garden. The game will start just after 7pm and will be broadcast nationally on TNT. However, unlike most TNT regular season games during the season, the tip will not come 15-20 minutes after the scheduled start [...]

(Video) Rajon Rondo Continues To Dominate In Postgame Interview

Rajon Rondo is a tremendous player, but he tends to have a little bit of an issue scoring the ball late in games. I won’t go as far as saying he is scared, but he does pass up shots and defer to teammates in crunch-time….well a lot. Last night though may have been his coming [...]

Bring On The Heat: C’s 107, Nets 92

The C’s, well they have a history of flipping switches. We saw it firsthand this year. They’ve done it all preseason long in the second halves of game. Tonight may have been the most impressive example after falling behind by 12 in the opening frame, Boston outscored New Jersey by 34 points over the next twenty eight minutes on their way to an easy victory to wrap up the preseason at a 7-1 clip.

Now don’t be too fooled here. It’s easy to flip a switch when you are playing the Atlantic Division, but Boston looked damn good tonight. You want balance? All five of the starters scored at least 8 points in limited minutes.

Paul Pierce led the way with an efficient 17 points on 6 of 9 shooting, getting into the lane at will and finishing with a one handed throwdown off a fast break feed from Rajon Rondo.

Shaquille O’Neal put together easily his best performance of the exhibition year with 12 points on 4/5 shooting, with 9 rebounds, 2 assists and even 80% shooting from the line (4/5). The guy cleaned up the defensive glass all night long with strong outlets that let Rajon Rondo (12 assists) get off to the races with ease all night long.

Ray Allen took the game over for a portion of the 3rd quarter with 14 big points on 4/4 shooting. It was a masterpiece to watch all together. More to come, but make no mistake people, this team is ready for the regular season and more motivated than ever.

Postgame reaction on the way……
