Avery Bradley Likely Done For Season

On the back of a horrific game six performance, Gary Washburn of the Globe piled on with more bad news: Avery Bradley is almost certainly done for the season. Washburn: A source close to Bradley told the Globe that it’s in the “high 90s” percentile that Bradley will be shut down and will perhaps need [...]

Game 6 Will Be Wednesday Night at 8pm on ESPN

After the Thunder finished up their series by routinely dismantling the Lakers last night to send them packing in five games, a time has been announced for the C’s-Sixers Game 6 on Wednesday night. It will tipoff shortly after 8pm on ESPN. Looking ahead in the postseason, if the C’s do win Game 6, and [...]

Highlight: Rondo Leads The Break

I love this decision-making from Rajon Rondo. While leading the break, you can see him eyeballing Ray Allen, who runs the wing and spots up on the arc. The Sixers have a 1-2 disadvantage but are mostly concerned about Allen’s three balls, which allows Mickael Pietrus to make an unmolested baseline cut behind the defense. [...]

Celtics-Sixers Game 5 Tips off at 7pm

A note to all you local C’s fans out there that may be attending the game tonight at TD Garden. The game will start just after 7pm and will be broadcast nationally on TNT. However, unlike most TNT regular season games during the season, the tip will not come 15-20 minutes after the scheduled start [...]

(Video) Rajon Rondo Continues To Dominate In Postgame Interview

Rajon Rondo is a tremendous player, but he tends to have a little bit of an issue scoring the ball late in games. I won’t go as far as saying he is scared, but he does pass up shots and defer to teammates in crunch-time….well a lot. Last night though may have been his coming [...]

Video: Full Kevin Garnett Reaction After Game 1

Garnett followed up his season-best effort against Atlanta in Game 6 with a new season-high in points and another sensational double-double, as well 60 percent shooting (12-of-20) from the field. Friday Notebook: Preseason Games, Gauging Big Baby’s Interest, Would Scal Come Back?

A few items to kick off our Friday morning, before we present out 3-on-3 on Ray Allen later this afternoon:

–We will begin with an announcements from the Celtics, that there will be a grand total of two preseason games at the end of December. The home-and-home series with Toronto will start at Air Canada Centre on December 18th at 1 p.m. and the C’s will return the favor at the Garden on Wednesday December 21st at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for these contests, as well as the regular season games should be going on sale next week (reportedly December 12th) so keep your eyes peeled for that, as preseason basketball may actually be exciting for once with a mere two games per team.

– Yesterday also marked the first day of players be able to return to use team facilities. A. Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE.com reported Ray Allen was in attendance yesterday in Waltham, and Rajon Rondo made an appearance as well in the after hours of the day, according to C’s media relations. Perhaps to avoid the media conglomerate that spent much of the day in Waltham?

–According to a report from Yahoo! Sports Glen Davis has drawn interest from five teams (as well as the C’s) so far in free agency:

Boston Celtics free-agent forward Glen Davis appears to be in good shape after working out at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., the past two months. In addition to the Celtics, Davis has drawn interest from New Jersey, Portland, Atlanta, Orlando and Philadelphia, sources said.

Davis is good friends with Magic center Dwight Howard, dating back to their AAU days.

We will keep a close eye on Baby’s market in the days ahead, as whatever his price range may be should have a huge influence on the C’s options moving forward, either by re-signing him, or in a potential sign-and-trade deal.

–Finally, according to Sportando Basketball on Twitter, Brian Scalabrine has parted ways with his Italian team Benetton Treviso and plans to return to the NBA. Sources have him looking to return to the Bulls, but given the roster space, you can’t help but think Danny Ainge would at least give Scal a call to help fill the void at the end of the bench, and dare I say it…..cause a little popularity buzz around here.

More on the way later today…..
