Boy, That Preseason Was Quick: Raptors-Celtics Open Thread

It’s our last chance to see Doc go 15 deep tonight as the C’s host the Raptors in the much anticipated preseason finale. A few quick things to look for, as the team’s rotation begins to come into focus for this squad.

– E’Twaun or Avery? These two are in a bit of a dog fight for some potential minutes out of the gate at the two spot off the bench. Moore put on a bit of a show Sunday in Toronto during the final two minutes. Will he be able to continue separating himself from the pack to try to push his way into the rotation to start the season? Tonight should give us a better indication. If both don’t perform, it could be neither for Doc, but with Paul Pierce on the mend, chances are one of these two will be line for minutes as the regular season begins.

-Minute Watch: With not much time to whip the guys into shape, look for the starters to see significant time once again tonight. How much is anyone’s guess, but 20+ shouldn’t be out of the question with three days rest before the season opener Sunday.

-Bench Chemistry: Doc has been raving about the majority of his new additions, but the role players have minimally time to mesh before this season kicks off. Pay attention to the lineup combinations Doc tries tonight, as he deals with the potential of trying to play the bench unit without more than a starter for periods of games this year.

As always, tell us what you’re seeing out there. Full coverage on the way during the postgame.
